A look into each module
In this program, we center acceptance. What you’re challenged by in your parenting journey is a common experience. And you deserve to have nuanced, high-quality information given to you in a simple and actionable way.
Immediately when you sign up, you’ll get access to a library of resources, worksheets, and one-sheeters related to the below topics. All sessions will be recorded and added to the library as well.
We’ll talk about what mindfulness is and why it lays the groundwork for being able to prevent problem behaviors and manage chaos. Jodi will lead you through a guided mindfulness exercise and discuss strategies for staying in the present moment during hard parenting moments.
We’ll discuss the 4 functions of human behavior (why we do what we do!), demand load and capacity and use those principles to come up with ways to prevent problem behaviors before they occur.
Even when you do your best to prevent problem behaviors, chaos is still inevitable! Kids just aren’t predictable, which can be fun and challenging. In this module, we’ll discuss what to do when the problem behavior is happening in real-time. What’s the best way to respond?
We’ll get clear on your family’s top three values, then make sure that your daily actions match the values. This module comes with a deep-dive workbook to use with your partner and children so you can design a unique-to-you approach to making decisions.
Now that we’ve talked about your values, let’s align them with your routines! The typical advice out there probably doesn’t work for your family, so we’ll come up with a clear game plan for living out your values, day after day.
Here it is: a deep dive into helping your child understand and manage their emotions. We’ll explore the science behind emotional regulation and share whole-family strategies to establish lifelong healthy habits for your child.
How do we help our kids feel good about who they are? In this noisy world, it’s more important than ever to raise kids who know (and live out) their values and feel free to be themselves.
The number one thing we all need to find everyday joy is flexibility. Routines are an incredible baseline but sometimes things don’t go according to plan. In this module, we’ll talk about how to raise kids who are adaptable rather than rigid.
Screen time can be an incredible tool that brings ease to parents and allows kids to have downtime. In this module, we’ll talk about how to approach screen time if you have a uniquely-wired kid. You’ll walk away feeling like you are honoring your values and clear on what kinds of screen time make sense.
We’ll explore how to effectively advocate for your child in various settings, from school to community activities to ensure they get the support they deserve. We’ll discuss ways to teach your child to advocate for themselves, so they can thrive in every environment.
Did you know that play supports your child’s development in so many ways? It teaches creativity, problem-solving, and resilience. We will dive into the research on play and you’ll learn how to integrate meaningful play into the everyday.
All people deserve to feel like they belong, and you deserve a strong support network. Learn strategies for building relationships, connecting with a community, and creating a supportive environment for both your child and your entire family.
